Dr. Florence Obianyor (Dr. Flo) graduated from medical school in 2000 as a General Practitioner. She also completed a 2-year residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary in 2011. Dr. Florence attained a Master in Public Health degree from the University of Liverpool, U.K (2020) with a certificate in Health Systems Improvement.
Dr. Florence is an experienced Family Physician with a very strong interest in mental health and addiction, care of the elderly, and a duration of practice of over nine years in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
She has offered counselling and medication therapies to patients since she began her practice in 2011. Her goal is to provide the best possible treatment in an individualized and patient-centered manner. She is willing to utilize spiritual–lens to managing the mental health of her patients in a non-denominational manner.
She invites you to take that first important step to self-reflect about your mental health and well-being challenges and then take that next step to find suitable help. Until one seeks help and takes ownership of one’s own health, nothing changes.
